Are My Items Insured While Being Stored At Your Facility?

Renting a storage unit is similar to renting an apartment. The same way your landlord doesn't insure your personal belongings, we don't insure your items either. However, we do offer an excellent and affordable Tenant Protection program that you can purchase through us. Please note: if you have homeowner's or renter's insurance, your property may be covered, but you should double check with your agent.

Tenant Protection

Protect your storage against the unexpected!

We recommend Tenant Protection over homeowner's insurance because:

  • Your stored items may not be covered by your homeowner's policy
  • Your premiums could go up if you file a claim
  • Your homeowner's policy could be canceled if you file a claim

AVOID THE $200 DEDUCTIBLE

Be sure to use a disc or cylinder lock to avoid the $200 deductible.

Add tenant protection when renting a unit or add to an existing rental through your online account.
