603 Storage & Moving is proud to have recently partnered with Savers in Portsmouth, NH and the “End 68 Hours of Hunger” effort. After several months of donating a couple of our EasyBox Portable Units at our Northwood location to “End 68 Hours of Hunger” for their collection efforts of food and softly used household goods, we received a call from Paula at Savers. They needed the goods that were being stored in our containers brought to their Newington location and she was hoping we could donate a truck. We told her we could do better than that – we could just deliver the pods right to their door!
How does it work? Various non-profit organizations receive donations, like household goods, toys, and clothing. Those donated items are then transported to a Savers location, where the items get catalogued and weighed. Based on those calculations, Savers will then provide money to the charity for all of those donations. What a great service!
It was amazing to see the wonderful people at Savers and the event coordinator from “End 68 Hours of Hunger” come together for such a great cause. We simply delivered our EasyBoxes to their location, setting them in an area that provided the volunteers easy access. In a short time, they had the pods unloaded and all of their goods ready for the next step in their process.
603 Storage & Moving is pleased to be involved in this worthy cause by helping with their storage and moving needs and we wish them all the best during this holiday season and beyond!
